EFR Primary Care Course
During the Emergency First Response Primary Care course (CPR) we will teach you how to respond to life threatening emergencies. The course focuses on primary care through a combination of knowledge development, skill development and realistic scenario practice to make sure you have confidence in your ability to provide care when emergency situations arise.
We have trained Emergency First Response Instructors who can provide training either at our premises or at your own site for groups of up to 12 people.
Primary Care (CPR) skills taught in this course:
Scene Safety Assessment Universal Precautions – Communicable Disease Protection, including barrier use
Primary Assessment
Rescue Breathing
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)Conscious and Unconscious
Obstructed Airway Management
Serious Bleeding Management
Shock Management
Spinal Injury Management
We will also introduce you to
o Automated External Defibrillator (AED
o Emergency Oxygen Use.
